In luxury aviation, presence is what gets you chosen.
Over two decades in private aviation taught me one thing. Your role skills get you in the door. How you make people feel is what gets you chosen and trusted. That’s what I teach, and the support I give crew at every stage.
Most training stays at the surface. Things like the CV, the right words and answers, what to do in the cabin, the strategy. I teach those too, properly, and they matter.
The surface is still vital, but it isn’t where the deepest impact is made.
The difference is a level underneath. It’s who you’re being while you do it. Your presence, your self-trust, your confidence. How you’re perceived. Whether you’ve truly embodied what you know, or only learned it. The same skill from a grounded place, rather than an anxious one, comes across completely differently. Same words, same service, a different feeling in the room.
That underneath layer decides whether you’re chosen, and whether you’re asked back. It’s what I’ve spent years refining, coupled with twenty-one years of ongoing work in the industry.
It’s why people come to me for one thing and leave with another. They sign up to nail an interview, or learn the cabin, and afterwards tell me the real change was in themselves. That isn’t a side effect. That’s the outcome.
So yes, you’ll get the right words, the personalised CV, the highly expected skills, as they are also needed. But what you’re really here for is the person and the lasting impact underneath them. The you that doesn’t have to perform, because you simply belong.
I discovered that even the most renowned courses don’t teach this deeper layer, and I’ve seen what that costs. A woman I know of trained at one of the most prestigious schools there is, focused on getting everything perfect. Her skills were exceptional. But they didn’t keep her in the role. Three months in, she was let go, not for anything she’d done wrong, but because, as the owner put it, “she just didn’t feel right.” Not long before that, that same client took me on, off the back of a big mistake I’d made.
The skills were never the deciding factor. How each of us made people feel was.
It also cuts through almost every limitation people fear will hold them back. Your age, where you’re from, what your CV says, none of it is the real lever. I know that first-hand.
And it’s the same ground excellent leadership stands on, exactly what’s needed at this level.
I’ve spent over 21 years in corporate aviation and five years mentoring crew, from first interviews right through to long careers in private aviation. I’ve served extraordinary clients, from Middle Eastern royalty to European elites.
I’m a bit obsessed with human psychology and behaviour. I’ve spent years trying to understand myself, and that’s what taught me how to understand other people so well. All of that study has been a major key to my success in this industry.
I’ve been through plenty, in life and in work, and I bring all of it into the support I give. We’re not just professionals, we’re people, and what we carry affects how we show up. So I work with the whole person, not only the professional.
Whichever one is yours, what’s underneath is the same. Not just the skills, but who you’re being while you use them.
