Because service is felt, not just delivered
Nearly two decades in luxury aviation taught me that technical perfection gets you in the door. But it's presence, how you show up as a human, that gets you chosen.
And it's what helps you navigate the myriad of difficulties and uncertainty this industry is known for. That's what I teach through guidance, training, and above and beyond support that actually works.
Antonio Damasio
Technical skill is expected.
What influences whether you are selected, trusted and requested again is how it feels to be around you while delivering the service.
I have seen highly skilled professionals lose roles, not because they lacked competence, but because something essential was missing.
Presence.
Emotional intelligence.
The ability to create calm in high-expectation environments.
This is the layer most training overlooks.
And it is the layer that determines longevity.
Heidi Cole
In luxury service, we are not simply delivering something tangible.
We are shaping how people feel.
Technical skill is essential.
Attention to detail matters.
Excellence is expected.
But what ultimately leaves a lasting impression is not just what you do.
It is who you are while doing it.
Service operates on more than a visible level.
It is experienced emotionally.
When we understand human behaviour and master genuine connection, we create environments that feel calm, safe and considered.
I have seen this first-hand.
Even when I was not the strongest candidate on paper, clients requested to keep me on because of how they felt in my presence.
That experience shaped everything I now teach.
At the highest level of luxury, money is rarely the deciding factor.
What stands out is authenticity.
Emotional intelligence.
The ability to create a sense of home at altitude.
That is the difference between performing service and embodying it.
With over 21 years in corporate aviation and five years mentoring professionals at different stages of their careers, I have supported crew from their first interviews through to building long-term careers in private aviation. I have served extraordinary clients, from Middle Eastern royalty to European elites.
I'm obsessed with human psychology, behaviour, and personal development and I invest a great deal of time and finances into it. I've spent years trying to understand myself, and that journey taught me how to deeply understand others. That's what's shaped everything I teach.
I've been through many life challenges as well as career challenges, and everything I've overcome, I'm sharing in the deeply nurturing support I offer. Because I recognise that we are not just professionals, we are humans with real experiences that also impact how we show up at work. So this is a very holistic experience, because I work with the whole person, not just the professional. That's what makes it unique.
What I have learned is this:
Excellence is expected.
What differentiates you is presence.
My work blends structured service refinement with psychology and emotional intelligence, so you are not only qualified on paper, but prepared in person. I help you refine how you communicate, how you regulate pressure, and how you are experienced in high-level environments.
Because at this level, how you feel to be around matters.
After 21 years in the industry and five years mentoring crew, I see this journey unfold in three distinct phases. Understanding your phase helps you choose the right support: personally and professionally
Exploring the Possibility as a corporate flight attendant
You are curious about corporate aviation, drawn to it, but not yet sure. Perhaps you are in commercial, in hospitality, or somewhere altogether different, and wondering whether this world is genuinely for you.
This phase is about honest answers, without pressure. What the work truly involves, what it asks of you, and whether it fits the life you actually want. Start here, get a real feel for it, and see whether it calls you.
From Paper to Presence
This phase is about getting in front of the right people, and being a natural choice once you are.
It begins on paper. Your CV and cover letter are your first interaction when no one knows you yet, and they need to reflect not only what you've done, but who you are at your professional best. If you aren't being shortlisted, or not as often as you'd like, this is where refinement begins.
From there, you are in one of two places. Either the interviews are already coming in, which means your positioning is working, and now it's about how you show up in the room. Or you want more of them, by getting the paper right with lessons and DIY templates I review with personalised feedback, alongside building your interview skills.
Because the moment you move into interview, you are no longer a document. You are being experienced in person.
Whether online, by phone or face to face, people form impressions in the first few moments. Your tone, your pace, your eye contact. How you handle the questions designed to throw you off balance. Your composure, your genuine warmth, your authenticity, and your ability to have difficult, heartfelt conversations.
This is where it becomes less about the exact words and more about how you feel to be around. You may know the job inside out, but if you come across as rehearsed, tense, overly self-conscious or salesy, something doesn't quite translate.
So at this stage, refinement is about presence and authenticity. How naturally you communicate. How calm and capable you feel in conversation. Because interviews in private aviation are not just about competence. They are about trust.
Securing the Role and Building Career Longevity
You are securing trials, stepping onboard, perhaps entering freelance contracts or permanent roles. This is the opportunity you have been working towards.
But it isn't the point where pressure disappears. It shifts. Every flight, every interaction, every moment where expectations are high and circumstances change quickly. Now you are being experienced over time, not in a single conversation.
Do your service standards feel like they are trying to impress and convince, or do they feel natural, elegant and easeful? Can you read the room and the moment, and handle the unexpected with grace? Can you regulate your own stress, flight after flight? How does it feel to work alongside you, day in and day out, because the crew have a real say in who belongs in their team. And how do you handle the difficult conversations, the ones we sometimes need to have with passengers, pilots and the companies we fly for?
You may already be technically excellent in the cabin. But career longevity is built on far more than technical skill. It is built on trust, and on how you feel to be around while you deliver that skill. Trust either strengthens, or begins to erode.
Longevity comes from presence that stays calm, capable and steady under pressure. From creating an atmosphere where clients genuinely feel at ease. From being the person who is requested back by name.
Securing the role is the achievement, like the wedding day and the commitment it marks. Sustaining it is the refinement, like a long marriage that deepens over time. This is the phase where you develop and build on everything you have, for the long term.
This is also where the 9-Month Fast Track Mentorship comes into its own, because it holds the whole journey, not just this stage. Both courses are included, your CV and cover letter are created with you, and all your interview preparation is covered, before we carry through into the confidence, presence and longevity work that keeps you thriving once you are in. In other words, it spans Phases Two and Three together, walking you from getting selected all the way to lasting.
Stepping Into Your Full Power
By now you may have secured the role and be thriving in it. Or you may be sensing that what is calling you next is not really about the cabin at all.
This phase is not about the job. It is about you.
It is for the point where what stands between you and where you want to go next is no longer another skill or technique, but something deeper. How you show up. How you trust yourself. How you turn all you have grown into action, and step toward the goals and the life you can picture but have not yet lived.
You do not need more skills. You need intensive, personalised support to own your presence and move through whatever is holding you back. This is the most personal and bespoke work I offer, and it now reaches beyond aviation too, for anyone in high-level service ready to step into who they are becoming.
Where Phase Three builds your longevity in the role, this is where you step beyond it.

My clients have experienced the transformative power of an authentic, connected approach to luxury service. Here are just a few of their reflections:
“She also taught me how to connect on a deeper level with the people that are interviewing and my following interview went very well. The interviewer didn't want to leave. It just flowed. Her studies, background and experience are so valuable for any person willing to step into the private aviation.”
"Heidi is an incredible tutor and mentor with a highly professional level of guidance & understanding which really paid off for me. I'm so grateful for her love and support to get me started in my career"
“Now that I’m flying solo I realize all the knowledge and experience she have shared with us it’s paramount, even though I have some previous VIP flying experience..I highly recommend anyone, with or without experience, to invest in this particular course. You get so much more than how to pour wine or how to tailor a menu."
You've got questions. We've got answers.
You'll find frequently asked questions alongside each of my products, so whatever you're considering, the details are always close to hand.
That said, the thing people most often arrive here wanting to know is whether they can work with me one-to-one. So I've answered that one right below, along with a few others that come up a lot. For anything specific to a particular course, you'll also find FAQs linked to each corporate flight attendant product.
Yes, you absolutely can. I recently launched the Elite Breakthrough One-to-One Journey, a three-month, bespoke programme for people in high-level service who sense their next step is no longer a technical one. It's built entirely around where you are now, where you want to get to, and what we need to do together to move through whatever is in the way, with a 90-minute session every two weeks and WhatsApp support in between.
It's offered by invitation, and intentionally small, so there's a simple first step. Add yourself to the waitlist below, and when a place is available I'll send you a questionnaire so we can both feel whether it's the right fit. Depending on suitability, I'll then personally invite you to join. Either way, I'll be in touch in due course.
Not any longer, and I want to be transparent about why. A single session can be a lovely introduction, and it can start to unlock real clarity and help you take a next step. But on its own, it was never going to bring the deeper change most people are truly looking for. Genuine transformation needs space, integration and time, which is exactly what a proper journey allows.
The one exception is when someone is already working with me, on a group journey, for example, and adds one-to-one sessions alongside it. That works well, because they're already doing the work and the sessions build on real momentum.
But for someone coming fresh, a one-off session simply won't achieve what they're hoping for, and I'd rather tell you that honestly than have you invest in something that can't give you what you want.
